Wu Dao Students Win at International Tournament
October 9, 2009 - Wu Dao students participated in and took gold metals in an international Chinese martial arts competition held over the October 10th weekend in Washington, DC. We were very excited that all of the students proudly represented Wu Dao and were successful in their divisions. Several students with between 1 and 2 years of training at Wu Dao won gold medals in advanced divisions. This is the first time that Wu Dao has participated in a tournament.

- Julius Anastasio - Gold Medal in Advanced Men’s Kung Fu
- Michaela Kane - Gold Medal in Intermediate Teens’ Kung Fu
- Sissi Liu - Gold Medal in Advanced Women’s Kung Fu
- Michael Schmidt - Gold Medal in Advanced Fixed-Step Push Hands
- David Mandeix - Silver Medal in Intermediate Men’s Kung Fu
- Melvin Geronimo - Bronze Medal in Advanced Men’s Sparring
- Elizabeth Neiderman - Bronze Medal in Intermediate Women’s Kung Fu
